Complexity Theory

Recently I have been getting acquainted with complexity theory and considering it’s possible use for the design of mobile markets. On September 22-23 I attended the second level of the York Complexity Summer School and had the opportunity to meet people with an interest in complexity from a variety of social science disciplines. I found the work on the modeling of supply chains as complex adaptive systems particularly relevant. The study of Dr Ian McCarthy from Simon Fraser University on co-opetition in the red meat supply chain was particularly relevant to my understanding of trade with perishable goods.

I have put together my thoughts relating complexity theory to mobile market design in a short paper.

Please, give me any thoughts and comments you might have!
